Owl Radio was established in 1993. At that time we were broadcasting as 1610 AM - WOWL. Our motto was "It's not the size that matters, it's the frequency." We were a tiny station located in a tiny closet inside the Senate's Chambers, but we had spirit.
In 1996, we established an Internet live stream using Real Audio. Currently we no longer use Real Audio but continue a live stream of music, talk and entertainment using Shoutcast and Windows Media.
Owl Radio has over 40 DJs that play music of their own choosing. We take pride in thie diverse programing which is as diverse as our members' ethnicity, age and personal values.
